  • Some of the most beautiful waterfalls are located in Ranchi. Hundru Falls, Jonha Falls, Dassam Falls and Panchghagh Falls enhance the majestic beauty of the city. Ranchi is surrounded by entrancing mountains and hills that offer kaleidoscopic views. The Industrial city of Jharkhand, Jamshedpur, has several tourist attractions and is a delight for nature lovers. One of the most famous tourist destinations is Dalma Hills which is situated just 13km from Jamshedpur. Adventure seekers can take up rock climbing or trekking. The Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary is known as paradise for elephants and is one of the main tourist attractions of the city. Dhanbad is surrounded by lush green forests and serene valleys. The city offers astounding views of pristine lakes, quaint temples and dams. Dalmi is one of the famous religious sites you must visit for the peace that dwells in every corner of the temple. Netarhat is a well-known hill station in Jharkhand. The picturesque landscapes and tranquil surroundings of this hill station can steal your heart. Away from bustling cities, Netarhat offers the escape you seek. Sadni Falls, Ghaghghagrri Falls, Magnolia Sunset Point and Koel View Point are some of the key attractions of this place.
  • Jharkhand has some of the most pristine lakes. Ranchi Lake, Jubilee Lake, Hudco Lake and Hazaribagh Lake are some of the best places to visit when in search of peace amidst chaos. The beautiful view of the sunset, sound of the tranquil waters below and a clear sky above together paint a beautiful picture of Jharkhand in your memory. Jharkhand is also home to several hills that offer breathtaking views of the lush green forests surrounding them. Khandori Hill in Giridih is best for rock climbing, rappelling and trekking. You can enjoy these adventure sports at Trikut Hills in Deoghar as well. The rope way used to reach the top of the hill is a major tourist attraction. Other famous hills include Tagore Hill in Ranchi, Canary Hill in Hazaribagh, Trikuta Hills in Deoghar, and Parasnath Hills in Giridih.
  • Jharkhand is well-known for its flora and fauna. The state is home to many wild animals and a myriad of birds' species. The Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary is home to barking deer, porcupines, sloth bear, and elephants. Besides animals, Dalma sanctuary is also well-known for its variety of birds. Some other well-maintained wildlife parks include Tata Steel Zoological Park in Jamshedpur, Hazaribagh National Park, Jawaharlal Nehru Biological Park in Bokaro, Palamu Wildlife Sanctuary and Betla National Park in Palamu. To get even closer to nature you must visit Teliagarhi Fort in Sahibganj.
  • If you want to explore religious places then Deoghar is one of the best places to begin with. The city is home to ancient temples like Baba Baidyanath Dham Temple, Harila Jori and Basukinath Dham. Other temples which resemble the rich traditional background of Jharkhand are Jagannath Temple, Sun Temple, and Pahari Temple in Ranchi; Rankini Temple and Bhuvaneshwari Temple in Jamshedpur; Rajarappa temple in Hazaribagh; Jain Temples and Harihar Dham in Giridih; Binduvasini Temple and Shivgadi Temple in Sahibganj.
  • Jharkhandi cuisine consists mainly of vegetables prepared in different styles. Some of the famous traditional food items include Litti Chokha, Pitha, Rugra, Thekua, Dhuska, Chilka Roti, Aloo Chokha, and Handia. Dessert items like Malpua, Til Barfi and Mitha Khana are best to savour your love for sweets.
