City Life

New York is like an aesthetic movie set for you to explore. You can visit all of its wonderful attractions during the day and enjoy a Broadway show in the evening. Historic/Architectural Heritage
The Empire State Building is one of New York's key tourist attractions. The 102-storey building has two observatories that offer astounding views of the city and sometimes even the neighbouring states of Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Connecticut. The Statue of Liberty is America's most iconic landmark. Built in 1886, it still remains a world symbol of freedom. Standing under 152 feet tall from the base to the torch, it is one of the world's largest statues. You can see it up-close from Liberty Island and also enjoy good views from Battery Park. Brooklyn Bridge is a grand structure with its Gothic-shaped arches. This historic bridge spans the East River from Manhattan to Brooklyn. Golden Gate Bridge gracing the San Francisco Bay is an iconic landmark of California. The orange structure strikes a perfect contrast with the blue water. The flood-lit structure looks absolutely stunning at night. La Brea Tar Pits, located in Hancock Park, houses fossil remains of prehistoric animals dating back about 40,000 years ago. The White House is the official residence of the President of the USA. A well advanced booking is necessary for the tours of the interior but the grand structure is just as iconic from the outside. Art Institute of Chicago houses a diverse collection of media including decorative arts, architectural drawings, paintings, photography, sculpture and more. Its main highlight is the collection of impressionist and post-impressionist paintings. Metropolitan Museum of Art, commonly known as Met, is one of the most famous museums in the United States. Founded in 1870, the permanent collection of this museum contains more than two million works of art. The Met Fifth Avenue is the centerpiece of the museum. The 9/11 Memorial & Museum commemorates the almost 3,000 people killed in September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center's twin towers. It's located in an architecturally brilliant glass building, between two picturesque pools. If you want to know more about specifically American history, politics, technology and culture you can visit the National Museum of American History. The National Air and Space Museum in Washington DC is one of the most popular museums in the world. It exhibits a collection ranging from historic air and spacecraft from the 1900s to recent flight history. Many of the elaborative exhibits are interactive. It also houses the Albert Einstein Planetarium, Public Observatory and an IMAX theatre. The Grand Canyon is one of the most stunning places in the USA. With an unfathomable depth and landscapes, gazing over the canyon walls is a memorable experience. Places of Worship
St. Patrick's Cathedral, located in New York, is an epitome of the city's Gothic Revival. Its massive bronze doors, 330-foot spires, white marble façade will leave you awe-struck. It's a major attraction for believers and tourists alike. Washington National Cathedral is an English-style, neo-Gothic cathedral. It is one of the largest cathedrals in the world. It is adorned with Indiana limestone, stained-glass windows and hand-embroidered kneelers. Some prominent religious sites are Hsi Lai Temple, Islamic Center of America, St. Louis Cathedral, Wilshire Boulevard Temple, Trinity Church, Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine, and Temple Emanu-El, among others.
How to spend time / how long will it take?

You can cover a major chunk of the country in 10 to 14 days. Starting off in New York, spend a day exploring the city. Take a trip to Niagara Falls for a day to witness its sheer grandeur. Head to Washington DC for a day to visit prominent cultural and historical sites. Moving to Florida, spend a day or two in Orlando exploring its amazing theme parks. Take a short day trip to Miami to bask in the sun at its amazing South Beach or Miami Beach. Spend two days in Los Angeles exploring the main attractions including its vibrant neighborhood, Hollywood. From here, head to Hawaii for two days exploring its amazing islands, beaches and lush greenery. Back to the mainland, spend a day in San Francisco before you head to the scenic Yosemite National Park. Spend a day exploring the amazing sites housed by this park and you could also indulge in a number of adventure activities. From here, you can end your trip in Las Vegas. Spend a day in this exotic city and enjoy nightlife like never before!
